History teaches us that the clash within Conservative ranks between populists and free-marketers may be decisive in shaping Conservative human rights policy after the election. Join us for a lunchtime talk with Dr. Marco Duranti of the University of Sydney to discuss his newest book, The Conservative Human Rights Revolution with Oxford University Press. Sandwiches will be served.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Marco Duranti is a historian of late modern Europe specialising in the origins of international law, norms, and organisations. He has published widely on the history of human rights, European integration, and conservative internationalism. He is also director of the Nation Empire Globe Research Cluster.
